Turn the request list into a working file
Start with the auditor’s requested information, the trial balance and the closing timetable. Organise bank reconciliations, receivable and payable schedules, asset records and supporting documents. Track missing records rather than presenting an incomplete file as final.
Resolve accounting questions with a trail
Prepare explanations and proposed adjustments supported by the records. Management approves accounting changes, and the auditor decides what evidence and procedures are necessary. Maintain a query log so responsibilities and unresolved matters remain clear.
Keep preparation and assurance separate
This service does not issue an audit opinion, CA certificate or statutory tax-audit report. It does not include signing company statutory audits, transfer-pricing certificates or remittance certificates reserved for the eligible professional. No audit result is guaranteed.
Assess independence where roles overlap
Existing co-operative audit services have separate panel, eligibility and appointment requirements. Accounting preparation and an audit for the same entity require an independence assessment; one engagement does not automatically authorise the other.
Before we begin
Will Dhake & Associates sign our company audit?
This page offers accounting preparation only. A company statutory audit needs a separately appointed eligible auditor. Mohit Dhake is not a Chartered Accountant.
Can you work directly with our appointed auditor?
Coordination can be agreed with the client’s permission, including the documents to share, review responsibilities and communication process. The auditor keeps responsibility for the audit opinion.
Agree the work before sharing records.
Tell us the period, approximate workload and the help you need. We confirm the records, responsibilities, review process and fees before accepting the assignment. Use the enquiry form for a brief description; document exchange is arranged separately.
