Agree the accounting boundary
Begin with the entity structure, reporting basis and period. Identify which ledgers are maintained internally and which tasks move to the India delivery team. Intercompany balances and unusual transactions need explicit instructions.
Build a reviewable working file
Supporting schedules should explain where figures came from and which adjustments were proposed. Agree naming conventions, references and the evidence required for journals so your reviewer can trace the work.
Keep approvals with the right person
Preparation support does not transfer responsibility for approving financial statements, tax positions or statutory submissions. The engagement identifies who reviews each output and how unresolved differences are escalated.
Start with a defined assignment.
Which parts of the accounting cycle need additional capacity? Share the software, country and approximate workload. We assess the fit, confirm the preparation and review responsibilities, and propose a limited initial scope before considering recurring support.

What should we prepare for accounting outsourcing?
Begin with trial balance and ledger exports; prior-period schedules and accounting policies; named preparer and reviewer responsibilities. Confirm the period and reviewer before access is provided.
What will the handover include?
The agreed scope can include agreed supporting schedules; proposed adjustments for approval; a period-end review file and open-item list. Unresolved questions are identified for review.
Can we start with one process?
Yes. A limited pilot can establish the workflow, questions and review points before recurring support or additional capacity is agreed.
Where is the work performed?
Our accounting outsourcing delivery is based in India. Engagement scope, working arrangements, systems and review responsibilities are agreed before work begins.
Who reviews the work?
We prepare the agreed accounting work and identify questions. Your designated reviewer accepts the handover; regulated advice, filing, certification and attestation remain with the appropriately authorised professional where required.
